WHAT IS A CERTIFICATE III IN BEAUTY SERVICES?
The Certificate III in Beauty Services has been designed as a standard entry level qualification for the beauty industry. It applies to those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to begin a career in the beauty industry.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL YOU RECEIVE AT THE COMPLETION OF THE CERTIFICATE?
The Certificate III in Beauty Services is the course that will teach you the diverse range of skills required for you to work under limited supervision as a Beauty Practitioner.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH A CERTIFICATE III IN BEAUTY SERVICES?
A person qualified with a Certificate III in Beauty Services is able to be employed as a beauty practitioner in a salon with limited supervision, ensuring a safe working environment, providing treatments, including lash and brow treatment and temporary epilation.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING THROUGHOUT THE COURSE?
Throughout the Certificate III in Beauty Services you will complete 15 units of work. These units include face-to-face work and homework. The assessment of each unit is done via a learner’s assessment book and practical assessments throughout classes.
HOW LONG WILL THE COURSE TAKE?
In order to complete Certificate III in Beauty Services attendance is required three days a week for one year (40 weeks). During these classes you will be involved in theory and practical work, including treatment of clients that make appointments at the College’s Clinic. You will also be required to complete the theory units in your own time.

Marjorie Milner College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which means that your Certificate is Nationally recognised and accredited by the Government.
