WHAT IS A CERTIFICATE II IN RETAIL COSMETIC SERVICES?
The Certificate II in Retail Cosmetic Services has been designed as a standard entry level qualification for the beauty industry. It applies to those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to begin a career in the beauty industry.

The Certificate II in Retail Cosmetic Services is the course that will teach you the diverse range of skills required for you to become a Retail Cosmetic consultant.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH A CERTIFICATE II IN RETAIL COSMETIC SERVICES?
A person qualified with a Certificate II in Retail Cosmetic Services is able to work in clearly defined context and under supervision. It involves communicating in the workplace, performing routine salon/store functions, demonstrating skincare products and designing and applying make-up. .
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING THROUGHOUT THE COURSE?
Throughout the Certificate II in Retail Cosmetic Services you will complete 15 units of work. These units include face-to-face work and homework. The assessment of each unit is done via a learner’s assessment book and practical assessments throughout classes.
HOW LONG WILL THE COURSE TAKE?
In order to complete Certificate II in Retail Cosmetic Services, attendance is required one and a half days a week for one year (40 weeks). During these classes you will be involved in theory and practical work, including treatment of clients that make appointments at the College’s Clinic. You will also be required to complete the theory units in your own time.
