WHAT IS A CERTIFICATE II IN MAKE-UP SERVICES?
The Certificate II in Make-Up Services has been designed to develop the skills and knowledge of those employees who wish to be employed as a beauty practitioner in a salon with limited supervision, ensuring a safe working environment, providing treatments, including lash and brow treatment and temporary epilation.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL YOU RECEIVE AT THE COMPLETION OF THE CERTIFICATE?
The Certificate II in Make-Up Services is the course that will teach you the diverse range of skill required for you to become a Make-Up consultant.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH A CERTIFICATE II IN MAKE-UP SERVICES?
A person qualified with a Certificate II in Make-Up Services can consult for many different types of Make-Up Services. You will be able to consult and provide day, evening, photography and camouflage Make-Up services as well as being able to communicate, provide service to clients, sell products and services and working safely all within a workplace.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING THROUGHOUT THE COURSE?
Throughout the Certificate II in Make-Up Services you will complete 15 units of work. These units include face-to-face work and homework. The assessment of each unit is done via a learner’s assessment book and practical assessments throughout classes.
HOW LONG WILL THE COURSE TAKE?
In order to complete Certificate II in Make-Up Services attendance is required one and a half days a week for one year (40 weeks). During these classes you will be involved in theory and practical work, including treatment of clients that make appointments at the College’s Clinic. You will also be required to complete the theory units in your own time.

Marjorie Milner College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which means that your Certificate is Nationally recognised and accredited by the Government.
